Job Responsibilities
As an IT Administrator, you will contribute to students and staff achieving increased digital competence based on existing and planned tools and initiatives. One of the main responsibilities is to provide support to students and staff regarding IT-related issues. The role may include updating web pages, administering technical equipment, and managing student and timetabling systems. Additionally, you will handle the school's IT and telephony equipment. Ordering technical equipment, contacting suppliers, and performing basic troubleshooting of IT equipment are also part of the role. If needed, you may also support our caretaker with various tasks within the caretaking department.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Completed upper secondary education
- Previous experience in IT administrative work or equivalent
- High digital competence and good ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new IT programs and systems
- Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Merits:
- Good knowledge of IT tools and systems relevant to the role, such as Cosafe, DigiExam, Ekot, Google Workspace, Office 365, Sitevision, Unikum, or equivalent
- Experience in handling work-related communication on social media.
The role of IT Administrator involves frequent contact with both students and school staff, requiring the ability to handle complex questions and analyze problems to find sustainable solutions. You take responsibility for your tasks, plan and structure your work well, and drive your processes forward independently. Furthermore, you communicate clearly and adapt your message to the situation, contributing to an open dialogue. You are service-oriented, receptive, and have a strong desire to help others and find practical solutions. You value diversity and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect both yourself and others.
